importing sfz files into aria rtas on the Mac

Postby gordio69 » Mon Jan 16, 2012 10:28 pm

Hi:
I have a good-sized collection of sfz instruments that I use in Windows with sonar on a regular basis. I want to use them with pro tools on the Mac with the aria player. I have copied the sfz definitions and their associated samples to my mac and I can import them into aria under PT, but they don't play. They do work with Pt on windows. Do I have to do something special with the pathnames on the mac, even if I'm not refering to them on windows?
Thanks
Gord

Do they work more in the Mac standalone? (doubtfull)
I dont currently know of any bug that would prevent a PC SFZ to work on mac.

Are you sure the samples are decompressed correctly on mac (same relative paths from the references in the SFZ files?)
Could you provide me with an example patch and samples?
