No that I have it running, I need a little more description of the Discrete signal.

Does it run at some (slower) sample rate or is it purely event (change) driven?

A suggestion, maybe you're saving more contrasting colors for other signal types (spectral phase or delta freq. maybe?) but the discrete color is a little too close to the audio color.

This is exciting.

Definitely looks like there is an issue when you end up having a red bidule, I'll look into it.

Purely event driven.

I would need some more math bidules:

Function and Function (Recorsive), Logic Gate, and Value List Indexed.

At some point you would need to update the SDK too.

Cool Stuff!

Unrelated:

Is the Linear Feedback Shift Register new to .9705?

Is there going to be an updated help file (to cover what's new/changed in .9705)?

I have not yet tested it but what excites me about this new feature is the prospect of being able to do algorithmic composition in Bidule! :)

Uhhhhh.... can't say much but thanks. Shaved 5% off of CPU when I needed it most.

Okay... now that I've actually explored what discreet is all about.... man this is going to be so great, except the part where I'm replacing all of the old audio stuff for discreet versions *sigh* Unfortunately that task is a little too much to put on my plate right now... but I can't wait.

I noticed that when you use the discrete to audio group, the audio signal resets to zero when after each change. So the discrete value only exists for one sample. Is this expected behavior?

not expected behaviour, definitely a bug.

I didn't see anything about this new signal type in the xsd. Is that a To Be Done?

It seems the problem I was having in this thread was due to me completely forgetting that I was using the P2 test version of Bidule .exe without running the 9705 main update. Everything is working now.
