Cool stuff man. I'm more of a traditional keyboard player, so it always blows my mind to hear people come up with soundscapes like these. Are we hearing just Bidule, or are you running VST plugins too?

hey there, thanks.

that's just bidule and the basic AU effects that come with OS X.

i guess i'm kind of the opposite of you. i come up with cool textures all the time and then sort of struggle to integrate them into something.

more fun with obama samples:

http://subnaught.org/cgi/blog/music/obama2

this was produced from a relatively simple plogue layout. boboche sampler for the rhythm, two Chebyshev waveshapers for synth and basslines, and a couple crossfaders assigned to knobs for dj effects. everything driven by Step Sequencer and run through ComplexLimiter and MatrixReverb.

That's pretty cool! Amiable Obama, some serious sub and a little female temptation. Sweet.

new track up:

nothing too complicated from a bidule point of view, but the results are pretty nice, i think.

thanks.
