View contents of Map

It'd be handy if there was a way to visualize and edit a Map's contents in its window for reference (without having to save out)

In addition to this, I thought maybe maps and lists could be saved to the Media pool for global usage. So in effect, if the map in the global pool is edited, all those bidules referring to it will get those same edits. I think maybe also a way to visualize and edit data graphical (like the lookup table) would be useful too.

I just posted and then deleted a thread which I think was entirely a subconscious rip-off of this idea. So yeah, this would be good. If there was a way to record into and zoom in on the lookup table it could have a similar function. It seems like the one tricky part about this might be that editing would be a lot different based on how many samples there are and what range of values they cover, and also whether or not there's more than one value at each point.
