Re: Optimizing this Group?

Well what is your layout/prefs say about processing at start?

Mine are always set so that processing is off, until I manually turn it on.

Re: Optimizing this Group?

Discrete Trigger.png At load would only be when you load the layout. At processing start would be every time you turn processing on (which you could do when adding/changing the discrete layout, to initialize) Start of each measure, assuming you have a sync source, could be sort of an automated vers...

Re: Optimizing this Group?

Discrete trigger has manual + start of processing and manual + each measure options.

Re: Audio file player time output

Bonus points for a "waveform seek bar" in the Audio file players. By which I mean a display of the file's waveform, with a scrolling position indicator that you can also click in to set the position.

Audio file player time output

It would be handy if the audio file players had the current play time available as either a parameter or output pin. I guess in samples. For use with that, a "trigger at" bidule would also be handy. Outputs a trigger when the the value on the input pin matches an gui input value. Value sho...

audio file recorder status

In the audio file recorder, the "recording" parameter is an input. The recorder shows when it's recording by the little "rec" symbol, but I don't see any parameter or other way to tell programmatically? I guess the only way to manage that now is to setup and external control, lin...

absolute parameter modulator 2

I'd like to see a new parameter modulator bidule (discrete and audio) It should have the ability to change the min and max values via parameters or as input pins (not sure which would be better) Also it should have a "gate" (also could be input pin or parameter). When the gate is off, ther...

Re: Optimizing this Group?

To simplify the fades: Let me assume that your curves or morphs are telling the modulated parameter how fast to move from one preset to another, or, as the curve/morph changes, it drives the change in the modulated parameter. OK, let's say your curve goes from 0 to 1, call it z Your start parameter ...

Re: Optimizing this Group?

"port"? "plugged in" You're talking about connecting a constant to an input pin while working on the layout? Other than developing a habit of changing the value after connection it seems like something Seb would need to do in the code; forcing a propagation of value whenever a pi...

Re: ReaJS VST size

Partial Success. I can resize the UI but the area of the VST itself didn't change. I tried reloading and recompiling/rest the JSFX patch, no joy.

Actually, the "full recompile/reset" does increase the UI size, but only slightly:

Re: ReaJS VST size

Well it sounds like the problem is that ReaJS loads different patches AFTER creation, under user control, and the patches would determine the size.

What about allowing VST Resize as an option in preferences or registry etc.?

ReaJS VST size

Is there anything that can be done to increase the size of the ReaJS UI? There are a number of JSFX patches that have elements below the current UI area and I don't see a way to resize the UI. 5.1 Master Limiter ReaJS.png In that image the Meters (output level and Gain Reduction) are going off the b...

Re: Optimizing this Group?

This is one example where having the min and max range of a parameter modulator be parameters (or pins on a new PM bidule) would be very helpful.

min = current preset
max = next preset

value = output of the curve LUT.

Re: Optimizing this Group?

Maybe the values in the curves LUT should be index values for fades (not a fully formed thought).

And or something with realative parameter mods (which I have never understood).

Re: Optimizing this Group?

I guess at a high level you are "pre computing" the curves now, with LUT, but that actual fades are still computed
in real time (and each time).

Not sure why 500 calculations over 2 to 5 seconds is causing such a load with discretes, however :?: :?:
