Re: Rewire Max7 questions / problems

It's and undefined error in the ReWire SDK which is weird. What's even weirder is suddenly getting it from processing, seeing at the beginning when trying to open the device would make more sense. That error seems to be coming from within the ReWire shared library as far as I can tell. Not cool if ...

Re: Rewire Max7 questions / problems

Hey Seb, I heard back from Cycling74, (Cycling '74 Support) Aug 17, 15:58 PDT Hi Gary, For the original issue, I assume you've set Max to have all 16 ports in the audio status window? The screenshot shows what it looks like for me. For the timeout issue, that seems like a Plogue issue, not a Max one...

Re: Rewire Max7 questions / problems

Issue: Randomly, or I cannot figure out what is causing it, sometimes my Max 7 rewire module goes into "By-PASS" mode. There is no way to change this mode besides deleting the module and re-adding ... ??? Why. That means that calling process for the ReWire device returns an error which sh...

Re: Note Remapper issue?

Hey Seb, I tested it and it works now. I CC-remapped a whole series of the note-remapper modules, I used my MD patch and it was spot on! It works as one would expect it to work. I will assume there isn't an issue using the fixed exe file until the next update. Thanks again Seb for a quick turn aroun...

Rewire Max7 questions / problems

I am using Max 7 in Rewire mode, within bidule -Bidule is playing the VSTis, other routing -Max7 is massaging the Midi note data, receiving CC data -iPad is sending CC data and Midi Note data Challenge: I'm only sending MIDI/Control Data from Bidule to Max, but since max module had two audio outputs...

Note Remapper issue?

.9756 (64bit) standalone Windows 10 64bit I have a need to remap incoming midi pitches, so I am using the note remapper module to do the job. I am wanting to control the pitch selection via a mididesigner slider. Simple enough. [right click MIDI Remap to:] I assigned the note remapper to receive CC ...

Re: passive sysex not supported?

SysEx is not read at the MIDI input so that's why you don't see it. What do you mean by passive sysex? (only passing it through or something else?) Hi seb, Passive meaning as you described, just passing it through from one port to another. I am not actively needing or wanting to change part of the ...

passive sysex not supported?

Hello everyone, I did a quick search and the return wasn't exactly answering my question, so I thought I would post something here. Please forgive if I am being redundant in some ways - but I wish to be clear. I have a [midi port in] via a logical midiport from my iPad, patched directly to an extern...

Re: Bidlue Stand-alone, DP8, Windows 8, No Sync/MTC

Are there any suggestions to have this solid? Enable the round tempo parameter and/or lower the Use last N values parameter value. The 'round tempo' enabling did help some. I have been tweaking the Last N values to a lower value. I have seen if I set it to low, the tempo went all wacked out, and th...

Re: Bidlue Stand-alone, DP8, Windows 8, No Sync/MTC

Maybe you don't have DP's clock wired to a MIDI Clock To Sync bidule? If not, try that. This Clock To Sync bidule should then show up as a sync source when you access "Sync to" in Tassman's contextual menu. I see the module you mentioned. I now have my virtual port wired to the MIDI Clock...

Bidlue Stand-alone, DP8, Windows 8, No Sync/MTC

I am running a simple setup while I am evaluating Bidule. I recently downloading the version from your website. I have Digital Performer 8 running, sending MTC clock out a predetermined MIDI Port. Tassman4 is the instrument that I am using in stand-alone mode and inside bidule as a VST plugin. Bidul...
