Re: Jumping window problem

It's a Windows 10, standard 640 GB HDD (one of the faster ones), I'm using only one partition, c://, tested in Reaper, Studio One, and FL Studio, all of my VST and samples/wav are stored in the same folder, attached generated log, as requested (indeed there is frequently occurring display refresh i...

Re: High Resolution Interface

Next update of chipsounds will be retina ready on OSX, however for windows resolution independence is not that easy to pull off.
Which platform are you on?

Re: Help with release samples and note_polyphony opcode

Just want to say that it is indeed very possible to make really great and convincing release triggers for pianos. My main partner Garritan/MakeMusic have shipped two great Piano libs using ARIA/SFZ, namely Garritan Steinway and CFX Concert Grand (and lite). I'm sadly in a conflict of interests to e...

Re: NKS Compatible

Hi!

Hard to tell, especially since the first chipsynth is both a software and hardware synth. (The famicom chipsynth).
Others should get out faster once that one is out!

Re: .ariap spec

As far as legalities are concerned. I'm not sure how this would be used, if its for a commercial talking/singing product, then a custom contract needs to be signed.

Cheers

Re: .ariap spec

No size atribute if you use the adata tag (ascii) instead of the data/size tag. Like this: <?xml version="1.0" ?> <AriaPreset version="1714" productID="1017"> <Target name="com.Plogue.Sequencer.Phoneme"> <CustomData type="36979" adata="Another v...

Re: Pan on CC with mono samples

All internal parameter modulation in ARIA is done in float and the input MIDI is converted from [0:127] to [0.f : 1.f] as soon as it enters the engine, so yeah set_hdcc is an early HDMIDI implementation (even though the spec aint finalized yet, or might never be). "_oncc" since it defines ...

Re: More talking options

Hi Permut8 uses a native talker called SAM (which incidently we will have too). Making a talker mode was really a fun easter egg/addon and really not the main focus on the software, That said, If you try Rotten.ST and CiderTalk84 talker modes, you will get exact vintage talker mode. But sadly if you...

Re: trigger=release velocity tracking

Can you make a simple sfz using only sample=*sine or sample=*noise?
I'll check it.
