Re: Converting ''Mixer'' or ''Gain'' fader's readout to be a parameter

I guess the answer lies in this part of the chain: Nyrv Agent (Main Gui)- - -> Bidule (Inside Agent)- - -> Vst (Nebula Inside Bidule)- - -> In Bidule, when you hook up a a midi monitor to the Nyrv Agent device, what do you see? What type of data / midi message / range? Likewise in Bidule, how do you...

Re: Converting ''Mixer'' or ''Gain'' fader's readout to be a parameter

dts350z's solution would bypass the need for parameter linking, but if you do need it for some reason, this should work -- Use a Variable and set its min/max to whatever scaling you want in dB (like -12 and 12). Connect to a Unit Converter set to 'dB to linear'. Connect to a Parameter Modulator (abs...

Re: Relative midi parameters

Hi Diego -- willing to help, what does your controller send to Bidule (using one of Bidule's midi monitors)?

Re: Tap Tempo Revisited

NTO -- um, what you are chasing here? If this tap tempo group looks over-complicated, it's probably because I was confused and couldn't spot the solution through my trials and errors....

EDIT: Though on second look, seems everything should work as advertized in v1.2....

Re: Relative midi parameters

I agree -- try relative parameter modulation, maybe as simple as linking one rel mod to many params. Rel mod in Bidule works by sending a +/- increment. Building it could take a few building blocks. What does your midi data look like, for ex. in a Bidule midi monitor? I have had some success convert...

Re: Open and close files with Bidule

I _think_ there could be a way to do this using OSC. If so, that would keep it all inside Bidule, no applescript necessary.

Edit: I just saw that you want to open Ableton Live project files -- nevermind, I was only thinking .bidule files.

Dsp/sample rate is a tab under Bidule>Preferences. If you haven’t checked, it’s worth a look.

Re: How to use an USB-Microfone

Is there a duplex audio device that shows up in Bidule's list of audio devices? Or could you create an aggregate device using the OSX Audio Midi Setup utility?

Not sure how this setting came to be changed - it was most probably me.

Mine was set to adaptive and I have never touched that setting....

Re: Discrete Midi Gesture Creator

Not so excellent at the moment, some midi signal flow issues. Essentially it's a simple idea -- polyphonic modulation of pitchbend. I'm overloaded at the moment, can post some audio when I settle. Latest group attached. I _think_ this one works as designed... Once again, all discrete (except for thi...

Re: Bidule-module to set any/all MIDI notes to a pre-defined length

In 'only have a hammer' mode, could the Midi Splitter be of use? Also, did nym's suggestion do any good? Also, I probably would have just tried to delay the Note On trigger 120ms and send to Note Off with the Note Extractor 2 / Creator 2.

Re: More Discrete Bidules

Would it be stupid to request a way to separate discrete events from data? I think it's a source of confusion going back and forth between audio and discrete. For ex., the Midi Extractor note on/off triggers show a constant output of 1 on the discrete monitor, I guess the discrete trigger, too. Mayb...
