Re: Bidule on Windows IOT

I've used Pd quite a bit, not so much recently, but I agree that it sounds like what you are looking for. The thing is about Pd (and other 'lower' level environments) is that things start to get interesting when you have a critical mass of objects and abstractions to suit your workflow. You might be...

Re: Optimizing this Group?

I'd still need a way to make custom functions, and the clipboard function really helps for that. Haven't checked out your morphing group yet, but your custom function request made me think of Csound's really comprehensive GEN routines, and how useful some of that functionality would be for the LUTs...

Re: transformation of group to discrete

I suspect the difficulty for the guys is rationalising how an events based system like Discrete fits into the Bidule audio rate paradigm, versus a control rate system, which can handle the time-based stuff, but with less fine granularity (update every 64 samples say as opposed to every sample). I'm ...

It looks like a Variable (Building Blocks > Math > Variable) , just it's been renamed to "Value Offset"

Re: Replace with Paste broken?

I just tried a completely new layout, added a 4 tap delay group twice, then edited the first one, copied and replace with paste

The changes don't migrate across, and I can no longer open the group ui window as all the parameters have been lost

Choice param exported as Knob unresponsive

Found a weird bug when the End parameter of Trigger/Gate Seq is exported as a knob, and it's max parameter value changed to a lesser value in the parent group Parameters properties The knob doesn't respond to mouse and jitters about. Seems to get worse the more you reduce the Max value. Is it some i...

Exporting original guis to group

Step up Matrix and Gate/Trigger sequencer! (and others)

Any technical limitation as to why their GUIs can't be exported as a whole, rather than disintegrating into a bunch of checkboxes?

Re: Swing?

This how I've made it in Pure Data a while ago swing.png Not too sure how much this makes sense if you're not familiar with Pd, but essentially there is a counter % 2, feeding into a selector (equivalent Output selector in Bidule or see *alternate group attached) which outputs bangs (triggers) into ...

Only way to to delete is to cut or select all and type over it.

Re: transformation of group to discrete

Not to be negative, but wouldn't the number of discrete variables required to make a map (if it was possible with objects alone) negate any cpu savings?

Why isn't there a compiled Discrete Map again?
