Re: Activation On Linux

Thank you Erik. Actually, importing the keycards did work on sfz. I copied them to my pictures folder and told sfz to look for them there and immediately got the message that GPO was activated. So sfz works, although apparently without any extras like reverb. but it's a start. Activation still is a...

Re: Activation On Linux

Hi Michael and welcome! While it's been reported that some of our products work with Wine, sforzando and bank registration is a complex matter in that context. The "Import" option of the "Instrument" menu (choosing your keycard instead of a sfz file) might be an option, but I'd b...

Re: Buggy MIDI response on mac AU/standalone?

Hi, Just a thought: Could it be possible that stray MIDI CC3 (A/E guide, page 3) messages get sent either from your controller or MIDI track? I know I've had dodgy knobs doing just that on a few controllers/synths myself. *EDIT Take a look at the Logic's Event list view to make sure* This is the onl...

Re: Automate Percision EQ via MIDI?

Hi, There's no easy way to do this as the GPO EQ parameters are not automatable. If you can call up saved Ensembles with your notation software, that would be the simplest option. If you really wanna mess with the sfz file, it's possible. **DISCLAIMER - ADVANCED USERS ONLY** copy the original somepl...

Re: volume problem

Pretty much what we thought it might be :) fil_type=lpf_2p cutoff=16.352 resonance=0.5 The filter cutoff is set at 16Hz. 16.352 to be exact That doesn't let much to be heard. There's something that got lost in the conversion somehow. Just removing that dot between 16 and 352 should solve your issue....

Do you want the text part of the file, or the wav file too?

Willard

Just the text will be fine.

Re: volume problem

Hi Willard,

Would you mind sending me one file either by pasting it here or through private message?
Did those came from Digital Sound Factory?

Hi,

sforzando needs an bunch of stuff that is put on the system drive during the install process. The dll alone cannot be used. :(

Re: Daisy Download

Hi,

We do not have the rights to distribute that voice bank anymore.

Bones is the new free Voice bank for Alter/Ego.

A new (and much clearer) female voice, called NATA should be out in the next months.

Cheers1

2) We're thinking of way to implement something with a similar functionality. Meanwhile there are the navigation arrows which lets you browse incrementally from your last loaded instrument.

Re: Two feature requests

1) Allow Sforzando to be added as an FX plugin so that the excellent reverb is available to all audio sources. (You could add a chorus/modulation to make it even better). First question is easy to answer: Ambience reverb is already available as an effect plug-in: http://magnus.smartelectronix.com/ ...

Re: Sforzando can't find the WAV

2 questions for you:

1- Do you see something looking like this when you open the sfz in a text editor? (probably at the top):

Code: Select all

<control>
default_path=woodwinds/Bassoon/sus

2- Are the samples located in woodwinds/Bassoon/sus folders, relative to the BassoonSus.sfz file location?

Re: Sforzando can't find the WAV

Hi when I,load an instrument a window opens and says it could find the wavs. However, they are in the same directory that the sfz thanks for your help Hello, Are you sure the samples path in the sfz isn't set somewhere else? Example: <region> sample=some different folder/MySample.wav maybe pasting ...
