Bidule (32-bit) stopping at splash screen

When trying to start 32-bit Bidule (with Windows 10, 64-bit), it sticks at the splash screen.
If I double-click on the desktop shortcut anything between 6 and 20 times it eventually opens. This happens both with "normal" Bidule and with "Standalone discrete processing test version" bidule.
This does not happen with 64-bit Bidule (but I neeed 32-bit too, so I can run Spec stereo to surround converter).

I attached the log files from failed loading and successful loading.

Strange, it seems to get stuck at trying to open ReWire. Does it fare any better if you turn off ReWire?
(ReWire tab, Enable ReWire Mixer)

You can also do it directly through regedit:
under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PlogueBidule

add a DWORD value with name:
ReWireMixer.enabled
and value:
0

After making the registry change it's still stalling at the splash screen.
The log file now looks like this (attached).

That's really weird as it now seems to stop at a different place.

Is there any way to temporarily turn off VB-Audio Virtual Cable and see if it changes anything?

At least it still stops at the same place as before turning off VB-Audio Virtual Cable.

Could you attach the groups.cache and groupsfilelist.cache files that are in the same folder as the bidule.log?

The next step after that in the initialization sequence is looking into the plugins folder for Bidule-based plugins
so you might want to try temporarily renaming the folder.

Here they are.
I got the error "invalid extension", so I added on .log.
Renaming the Bidule-based plugin-in folder (I guess it's the one containing the SPEC plugins, the only other plugin folder is for VST) didn't work, so I completely removed it from the Bidule program folder along with the Standalone "P2.exe".
Still no good, still stops at same place (see log).

Could you run Process Explorer
(https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sys ... lorer.aspx)

Double-click on PlogueBidule.exe when it's stuck, go to the Threads tab and take screengrabs/copy contents
of the list that is in there as well as the contents of the Stack window for each thread ?

I guess we'll have to go for the old school way with builds logging more information until we
found the exact place the stall occurs.

Run it, it's a 32-bit PlogueBiduleP2.exe doing more logging around the place where the log stops in the previous attempts.
