do something on processing start

Postby dts350z » Wed Dec 23, 2009 1:37 pm

Is there a function called on processing start, vs. plugin init?

I want to do something every time processing goes from off to on.

On a related note, I tried the following:

linked the "send trigger" output of a trigger bidule to GUICTRL_BUTTON in my plugin. I know the link works because when I manually press the send Trigger Send command button it triggers the button in my plugin. The happens with processing on or off.

However, setting the Trigger to trigger at start of processing does not work. ??

There's is a virtual start method in the base class which you can add to your plugin. The start method will be called when

a) processing goes from off to on
b) when you add a new instance and processing is already on
