Any plans for adding AY-3-8910 SFX?

Postby NORgate » Tue May 06, 2014 1:30 pm

From memory (nearly 30 years since I worked with an AY-3-8910 and a TRS80 Level II) the chip included SFX as well as tone generation. Any plans to add the SFX to chipsounds please? For those of us building retro games this would be most welcome.

Go on. You know you want to.

So how long do you envisage 2.0 to be away from actual release?

Not this year for sure, we are working on a third member in the chip series before that, more details to come
