commodore 64 envelope generator

hi i'm fabio from Italy,
recently i buyed chipsound... my purpose is to cover sidtunes from old commodore 64 games. Is a very good plugin but i can't use the envelope generator due the incorrect value of attack, decay and release... why these values are expressed in percentage and not in seconds? 0% in attack means 2 milliseconds ( like original SID) ?? i cannot understand...

Hi

chipsounds was done for the non-SID-literate in mind. As such, normal synth captions are used on the UI. (in percent)
the same UI captions are shared for ALL the chips.

However, the exact ADSR timings of the SID are applied under the hood, in 16 quantized steps:

For attack:
0.002

0.024
0.038
0.056
0.068
0.080
0.100
0.250
0.500
0.800
1.000

8.000

For decay/release:
0.006
0.024
0.048
0.072
0.114
0.168
0.204
0.240
0.300

(just like the datasheet)

I understand that it might be a pain to match it, but its possible. you just need to do the % to 16th correlations.
