Lo-fi toggle

Postby bassmeant » Sat Sep 25, 2010 10:23 am

I LOVE Chipsounds. It's an absolute treat to work with this palette of sounds.

But one thing I would like to see, is a sort of built-in lo-fi toggle, that enables the Chipsounds output to be .. well, a bit crunchier, dirtier, and soaked in that console funk that we all know and love.

With the intention of providing a familiar sound to the ear, this is the one thing I think could really augment Chipsounds already great sound. Sometimes Chipsounds is just too 'clean' sounding, resulting in me notching the EQ and adding some dirt to achieve that console funkiness.

Oh, something that would simulate the types of distortion that would normally occurr after the chip output stage would be awesome. Sort of like the graphics on some emulators have PAL emulation and halfscan, etc.
