I'll be posting some illustrated “how-to's” regarding certain support requests that we get once in a while.
So people can be directed to a quick common reference, here's the first installment of the series
Mac users having certain issues may be asked by Plogue Support to send them installer logs. Getting those can be tricky so we have a few screenshots for you. This example shows Alter/Ego, but it works the exact same way with any Aria product delivered as a PKG file.
Once installation has started, select Installer Log in the Window menu
This will pop up the log recording window. In order to know what's going on, you need to select Show All Logs in the Detail Level drop-down
Once the installation is complete DO NO CLOSE ANYTHING YET! You have to save the log first and close the Install dialog at the very end.
All that's left to do is to send us that file as requested. Any questions?
