Muted on OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 (14C94b)

Postby griz » Thu Jan 15, 2015 6:34 am

Hi,

i started chipspeech as standalone app but get no output. The license file is activated. I set audio output to Build-In and can also see that chipspeech receives the midi commands (text highlight steps forward). I have the latest Beta of Yosemite 10.10.2 installed. Any known Problems?

I also tested it on my Windows PC and everything runs fine.

best regards, Björn

From the screenshot, I think the first thing to check would be the Velocity slider from MIDI Keys, it looks
like it might be sending the minimum velocity which would be very close to inaudible.

The only way I get close to reproduce muted output on this 10.10.1 machine with the built-in audio is to switch
between plugged and unplugged headphones and have either the speaker or the headphone volume output muted.
