What is this VSTi pin?

Postby NTO » Fri May 26, 2017 6:20 pm

I've seen this with many VSTi's (not sure it it's all). Not Bidule specific, but thought I could get an answer here :)

Is the midi pin these VSTis are showing just a consequence of the specification, or some compiler convention, or...?

MIDI output from plugins, a VST plugin can declare that it supports outputting MIDI which is what Bidule uses to add that output pin.

Although in this specific case, I can't seem to recall when it's used in sforzando.

Hey seb! Thanks for the info. Just used sforzando because it's 'in-house'. I have many that do this, but I've never gotten midi out of any!
Sort of thing that makes me dizzy
