Alter/Ego Voices

Postby Cpl_Crapper » Mon Oct 05, 2015 10:30 am

Hi, I have been using sforzando for some time and downloaded the new Alter/Ego app.
It looks very promising and I tried it out with a song I'm writing which needs a female vocal.
I use an on-line collaboration DAW called Ohm Studio where many musicians collaborate to make music.
The problem is that female vocalists are very hard to find and I'd hoped that Alter/Ego might help.
I need to tweak around with it to get the best sounding voice.
But I was wondering if the Alter/Ego team had ever heard of Infovox Ivox.
They produce very good text to speech voices for the Apple Mac and have a large range of voices in different languages.
It would be great if these voices could be integrated with Alter/Ego.
Take a look at their website here:

I'd be willing to pay for good quality voices that could sing.

Singing and talking are quite different tasks. And require different set of tweaks.
You can sing in many different ways depending on the genre, there is no good way to do it. It needs effort.
