Great Results with Alter/Ego

Postby raypows » Tue Nov 17, 2015 4:04 pm

Just wanted to drop you a note and say thank you for Alter/Ego. I've used Daisy on a couple new pieces and happy with the results. I mostly have found that having her sing vowels instead of consonants is the way to go for the music I'm writing.

Here's a link to Daisy in action.

Hi Ray,

Awesome, great work. All instruments are played beautifully!

A few Teaks of the Wave Rate, Phoneme Speed and Sibilance controls may allow you to have more fun with consonants as well. :)

Keep them coming!

just a huge thumbs up, so cool. I'm not interested in vintage digital voices so much, this allows one to play and create new things. Can't believe it's free. Using it as a plugin for LogicProX. Lot's to learn here but so far very enthusiastic.
Only one question so far, seems the velocity of the midi note doesn't really effect the voice volume, is that right?
Thanks again.

See on the Modulation tab in the Expression section there is a Vel To Vol parameter which is used to control the amount of effect
velocity has on volume, it's possible that some of the presets have changed the default, otherwise make sure you are not sending
MIDI CC 104 on that track.
