Hi jersmi!
No offense or doubt.
Just trying to learn it (components really) from new sighting.
'Peeling the onion' is educational - fills in the doc file too!

EDIT
I think the OP (of my interaction) just needed a way to display the changing tempo/linking to VST.
I was my own enemy w/a restricted 'keep in range'.
I learned a few things
This was the simplest demo I made.

Did some 'pictorial massage' of the group's sub-groups.

Oh man, none taken. I just keep the msgs a little short sometimes. :) I just wanted to make sure none of my sloppy work was interfering.

It work perfectly! Thank you all!

Another question. If i want to add a slider to the TapTempo system to change the tempo progressively?
I tryed mapping the step sequencer BPM but it goes from 0 to 500 bpm...it's too much, the system crash

Any idea

I surprised myself!
This seemed to work - first try. Of course, the tap tempo display and the sync indicator become offset if you do offset...

Thanks NTO

The solution with + offset operation works but the problem to my deal is that i can only increase BPM, not decrease. I would to do them both in the same slider. (is there a variable bidule that go negative and positive?)

Another question: is there a way to reset the addiction variable to 0 when i set the tap tempo. If i play with musician i need to increase and decrease tempo with slider but when i take the time with tap the addiction there shouldn't be.

At the time i did it manual mapping an off button on control surface but problably it could be done into the tap group.
Like in this hardware you have pot and tap that works together on tempo.

Tempo Offset Var can go both directions in the given bidule.
Double click to open and set min to (i.e.) -50.0.

EDIT:
Got both changes in this new script. (jersmi - I did mod to your original inside group, but renamed for save. Hope that prevents confusion. Thanks for the base :D )

Highlight for group mod, and new parameter link.

Tested only briefly.
Reset offset to zero for new value of tap tempo, from positive or negative offsets.
