Slider Taper Monitor

Postby jersmi » Sun Feb 08, 2015 12:23 am

I wanted a way to visualize taper curves, so I made something in Bidule. It comes with a few formulas/techniques to demonstrate, relies on a normalized range [0,1].

Question -- I am wondering if there's a way in Bidule to create a random spline curve. I know the delays have spline interpolation, could something be rigged? I am thinking specifically of csound's jspline and rspline.

Using the SDK, I would think so.

FYI the sdk has these "tapers" for sliders: SCALING_LINEAR, SCALING_SQUARE, SCALING_CUBE, SCALING_GAIN10

but with c++ code you could translate one of those into anything.Just need the algorithm.

Yeah, this would be the kind of thing for the SDK, if I ever touched it....
