For chipsynth MD:

Battle of the Bits hosts a good amount of great modern tracks for the system

You can find pretty much the entire collection of Mega Drive/Genesis VGM albums playable in MD here:

Project 2612 full archive. Just extract somewhere and point MD's VGM player's left browser to this path where you have extracted it!

Some more OPN2 (YM2612) and OPN2C (YM3438) tracks can be found on VGMRips

MD can also play straight SN76489 rips on its 'Sega PSG' and even some other OPN family soundtracks (to various levels of compatibility), like the OPN (YM2203)

And the OPNA (YM2608), OPNB (YM2610) and OPNB2 (YM2610B) (all missing ADPCM channels as the MD's YM2612 cannot play those! - at least not yet).

You also will have to change the "Clock Config" settings to OPN/A/B (8MHz) to have correct FM/PSG pitch ratios for the other members of the OPN family. ** Don't forget to set it back to NTSC MD (7.67MHz) after! **

For chipsynth PortaFM:

SMSPOWER, only download YM2413 packs in ZIP format, NOT vgm7z as some of those are in FACT .RAR files and we havent yet ported the RAR lib to MacOS. (any file work on windows)

VGMRIPS YM2413 Some tracks/album may contain a mix and match of chips, not all songs will play something.
